Mr. Wentland had thirteen years of carpentry experience before becoming a Drafting teacher. He has been a teacher at Wheaton Warrenville South for eight years. He has brought a new opportunity to students South seven years ago when he began sending kids to drafting competitions. Since then he has had two kids go down state for their work in the drafting program. He is an active member in the athletics department. He is the assistant coach for the girl’s basketball team for four years now. Also he is the assistant varsity coach for the softball team for three years now. In his free time he also coaches a separate off season traveling softball team, the Downers Grove Outlaws.
