Biography

Ms. Burnside was born in Boston, Massachusetts and has lived in many states since then including Rhode Island, New York, Connecticut, Indiana, California, Ohio, Michigan, Maine, and Illinois. She has two children and enjoys traveling, reading, working out, and spending time with her children.

Ms. Burnside received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University. She later completed a Masters degree in Adult Education and also earned a secondary certification in Business Education with an information processing endorsement. Ms. Burnside has also obtained her Administrative Certification in fall of 2006.

Before coming to WWS in the fall of 2000, Ms. Burnside was a part-time instructor in Office Technology at COD for 16 years. She has also co-authored several college-level textbooks on desktop publishing.
