The Choir Parents Organization is a mini-booster group exclusively for the choral program at WWSHS. It exists to support the directors and students achieve the stated philosophy and goals of the music program at WWS. Music learning experiences are a vital part of students' schooling. CPO's mission is (1) to enhance the quality and celebration of music at WWS; (2) to support the goals of the choral department and its directors through fundraising projects; (3) to facilitate communication among the choral directors, students, parents and community; and (4) to provide assistance as needed for performances.
Every parent is a member of CPO; no dues or fees are required. We welcome and encourage everyone to come to our monthly meetings. If you cannot make the meetings, you can still volunteer for a number of different jobs that CPO staffs throughout the year.
While the bulk of fundraising for choirs is handled through donations taken at concerts, the CPO holds a couple of fundraisers each year.
Each year the CPO has a Market Day Pie Sale in November. A percentage of the profit made by Market Day on each pie sold by the choirs will go to the choral program. The material goes home with your students in October.
